What it covers
The email follows the same ground the site does, so the useful thing to know first is what that ground actually is. FighterStatus holds 1151 fighter profiles — 870 in Boxing, 270 in UFC and 11 in MMA — of whom 1129 are still competing, drawn from 86 countries. Every profile carries a full professional record with the current win streak, height, reach, country and a fight-by-fight history, plus the wins split by knockout, submission and decision, stance, date of birth and camp wherever those are on file.
Those records are what the rankings are built from: 3 pound-for-pound tables, one per sport, and 29 divisional tables. The order is computed from each fighter's record, the quality of their résumé and their recent form — it is not voted on, and only active fighters are ranked. The current tables were recalculated on October 22, 2026, which is the honest answer to how fresh any of these numbers are.
On the schedule side there are 3 cards still to come or in progress and 14 already fought. The next one up is UFC 333: Volkanovski vs Evloev on October 24, 2026. Each card page has the full bout order, a tale of the tape for the headliners, and — once it is over — the winner, method and round for every bout that has one. The roster is also browsable by camp — 187 of them — and by country, if you would rather read it that way.
Choosing a sport
The dropdown next to the email field is stored with your subscription and passed to the mailing list as a tag, so boxing readers and UFC readers can be addressed separately rather than everyone getting everything. Leaving it on All sports is the default and does exactly that. It is the only thing asked for besides the address itself — no name, no phone number, no account required.
What happens to your address
One row per address: the email, the sport you picked if you picked one, which page the form was on, the date it was added, and whether it is still subscribed. Those five fields, plus the row's own id, are the whole record. The list is kept here and mirrored to EmailOctopus, which sends the mail and puts an unsubscribe link in every issue. Unsubscribing there stops the email; deleting your FighterStatus account removes the address from both this site and the mailing list, because asking to be erased and then staying on a list is the opposite of what was asked. The privacy policy spells out the rest.
