How it happened
The rematch 13 years in the making was over in 69 seconds. McGregor hurt his knee attempting a jumping kick in the very first exchange and never recovered — when a Holloway leg kick sent him stumbling, the referee waved it off at 1:09 of round one. Holloway takes the rivalry level at one win apiece, avenging the 2013 decision loss.
In the co-main event, Paddy Pimblett needed just 52 seconds to lock up a Peruvian necktie on Benoît Saint Denis for the technical submission.
